In-School Programs

Screen Shot 2011 10 07 At 1.48.20 PmThe Cooke Center Academy is already an exciting partner of Daytime Moon, placing excited high school age interns with us for the third consecutive semester and launching a programming partnership with us in the fall of 2011. The Fall 2011 program, a partnership with their recent alumni and students in their SKILLS program, had 14 participants who collaborated on an original play, "Welcome to Camp," that was presented at the Peoples Improv Theater on December 15th.

This January, The Cooke Center has invited Daytime Moon to return for another in-house program with their young adults. We're looking forward to building on the success of "Welcome to Camp" and challenging our participants to continue stretching their creativity muscles. We begin sessions on January 23rd, and the group will be working towards a performance on March 19th. We can't wait to share their achievements with you!

Screen Shot 2011 12 29 At 11.42.38 AmDaytime Moon Creations is thrilled to introduce its newest in-school partner- the Aaron Academy, a private, special education school in New York that focuses on learning through the "integration of social, physical, artistic and academic instruction." The Aaron Academy has invited Daytime Moon to present a nine-week elective for a group of their 7th grade students. Beginning on January 4th, we'll be working on creative improv exercises, music and movement games, and the presentation of an original variety show that the students will be responsible for putting together. We're excited to continue enriching our network of partners and are thrilled to welcome the Aaron Academy into our community!
